Golf Society, The Abingdon Cup winning Team

The event was played a little bit earlier in the month this time around, but we still got a good turn out of 21 players, (19 Comrades Club members and 2 guests), this allowed us to put out 7 x 3 balls.

We played at a very well groomed Witney Lakes Golf Course, and afterwards most stayed for the post game meal of a pretty good plate of Ham, egg and chips.

The scores on the day were made up by adding the 3 individual stableford scores together, Tony Taylor, Trevor Denning and Steve Bumpass won the event with a brilliant 103 points (on count back)
