DESCRIPTION:A day out at Drayton Park golf course for a hidden pairs competition. Meet at 10am in the club house for a coffee and some banter about who will be the bandit of the day! There is an optional informal evening meal in the Comrades Club at 7pm with your playing partners. \nDrayton Park was opened in 1993 and built by the late Mr Michael F McKenna and is still owned and run by the McKenna family. Set in 90 acres with easy access from the A34\, our Hawtree designed parkland course has now matured far beyond its years with large but undulating greens. With Ginge Brook running through the heart of the course\, 4 lakes situated alongside fairways and 55 bunkers protecting greens and landing areas\, you can feel proud of yourself if you play better than your handicap. The course is extremely flat which makes walking the course and enjoying the wildlife an added pleasure. \n

DESCRIPTION:The Springs Golf Club in Wallingford is unquestionably one of the best golf clubs in Oxfordshire\, being located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and being spread over 133 acres of peaceful parkland. \nThe course itself was designed by legendary former Ryder Cup Captain Brian Huggett MBE who has created a golf course which will no doubt be enjoyed by golfers of varying skill levels. \n. Featuring mature trees\, lakes\, wetland and sleeper edged bunkers; our class leading course will prove a challenge for all that you will want to take on again and again. \nThere is a Bacon (or egg) roll and coffee on arrival. Groups are drawn randomly for a friendly and social round of golf. This is followed by an informal evening meal at the Club with plenty of chances to relive the great and not so great shots of the day.
